AquaQuote - Product Design

A dual-marketplace system for buyers to post request-for-quotes on specific products and part numbers, as well as for suppliers to respond with their quotes. The Client desired a modern system with a user-friendly workflow to simplify a tedious paperwork process.

Challenge

The system needed to replicate a series of existing manual, paperwork processes, and the design needed to identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of the processes.

Solution

Helped the client to transform business requirements into workflow diagrams
Drafted wireframes to iterate through various concepts, while crafting the interaction design and information architecture
Strategized system capabilities for an initial product release and incorporating concepts for the future product roadmap.
Facilitated the creation of user stories for the development team to compliment the wireframe documents, following the SCRUM methodology.
Created a rapid-prototype of HTML & CSS to serve as a proof-of-concept.
